This project consisted of a main workshop with secure warehouse, storage racking, high pressure test area, humidity and clean room storage areas.
The floor area of 1560m2, is serviced by two overhead gantry cranes, with three high bays at one end of the shed, and 15.000m high roof to enable the client to service deep sea oil well heads. The area also has rail tracks embedded into floor slab, to enable 40 tonne well heads to be placed on a mobile work platform (also designed and built as part of this project) and moved into the shed to be serviced.
Six office and ablution pods were built off site and transported to site, positioned and connected to services as part of this contract.
Site works formed a major component of this project with the specification calling for a hard stand area capable to withstand mobile cranes up to 60 tonnes working on pavement.
