This project consisted of refurbishment of an existing KFC free standing restaurant to the stringent standards of KFC. Management of the construction works took place while the restaurant remained open, this was despite the client offering to close the restaurant for a short period within the program.

The major works comprised of a new structural steel framed facade and entry tower, new outdoor eating area as well as new entry, electrical upgrade and dining room joinery as well as complete re-paint.

Of primary consideration when programming the works was to minimise the impact on our client and their customers. We accommodated all concerned by means of constant communication with the client and by hoarding off areas of work.

The project was completed on time and to the satisfaction of both the building owner and our client.

Our client managed to trade continuously with minimal disruption and inconvenience, again as a result of great management.
