This project involved additions to an existing operational store. The additions provided new car parking facilities, loading dock and goods receivable, new office and staff amenities. On completion of the additions the existing store was to be progressively upgraded whilst maintaining full operational trading.

The upgrade of the existing trading store involved new services, lighting power and data, new refrigeration plant and shop cabinets, complete with new ceiling and floor coverings, entry canopy and shop front.

In spite of drought conditions throughout much of the continent, Millicent had a particularly wet season resulting in two weeks of lost time.

The use of local trades where possible was of benefit to the local community.
