Both the AQIS and the CASA Buildings are situated at the Darwin International Airport with the project involving construction of both buildings to the required specification.
Due to the nature of the location, priority was given to the safety of the public and site personnel with the erection of temporary fencing and signage around the project perimeter.
A construction program incorporating both buildings was developed by the Sitzler team to enable the buildings to be constructed in conjunction with each other. The contract involved construction of the shell of both buildings but later extended when the Sitzler project team were invited to price the fitout requirements for both CASA and AQIS.
With the fitout contracts awarded to Sitzler the completion date was extended by three months to accommodate the works.
The Sitzler project team finalised the construction and fitout works and delivered to the client buildings finished to the high standard Sitzler are recognised for within the industry.
