The Chinatown Carpark is a 500 space, 8 level open carpark constructed in the Darwin CBD.
The document and construct project is sited in the 1st stage of the Chinatown Precinct Development and has provision on the ground floor for future retail tenancies which will open onto Chinatown Lane.
The proposed 2nd stage of the Chinatown Precinct will include a 26-storey tower containing a hotel and apartments, and a seven-storey office tower. The project will incorporate displays honouring Darwins Chinese history and create a new commercial hub in Darwin.
With its central location, security considerations held high priority in the planning of the development and the property has been fitted with a state of the art CCTV Security system. Lifts service all levels and self dispensing ticketing machines are located throughout the property for ease of use.
With a considerable number of variations on the project, completion date was delayed but the project was completed to the professional Sitzler standard and handed over to the satisfaction of the client.
