The Northern Territory Secure Facilities project encompasses a number of centres within one precinct, being constructed through a design and construct PPP in a joint venture between Sitzler and Baulderstone.

The Sitzler Baulderstone JV is the design and construct contractor for seNTintel, the consortium selected by the Northern Territory Government to design, construct, finance and maintain the facility over a 30 year period in a Private Public Partnership. The project includes a 1000 bed Correctional Centre, a 30 Bed multi-classification Mental Health and Behavioural Management Centre and a supported Accommodation and Programs Centre of 50 beds designed to house lower risk offenders whilst providing education and rehabilitation support services.

The Correctional Centre provides accommodation for male and female prisoners in a range of classifications from Low to Maximum security. It includes health, education, rehabilitation programs, industries, recreation and horticultural facilities for prisoners, and administration with visitor and gate house functions.

Ancillary structures include a staff development and training building, drug dog detection unit, laundry, stores and central kitchen.

The facility has its own stand alone water treatment plant (sewer) extensive storm water management and catchment drainage as well as major power generation capacity to service the facility for extended periods of outage in the likely event of cyclone influence.
