  • Defence Establishment Berrimah
  • East Coonawarra
  • Robertson Barracks

The works also included the removal of the structures associated slabs, foundations, foot paths, vegetation, fencing and other debris. All Services (power, water, sewer, fire & comms) had to be terminated at their supply points and the vacated areas made good by levelling and reinstatement of surrounding hardstand or grassing of areas following the demolition works.

Defence DEMS and GFIS also had to be updated to reflect the removal of the structures and services.

In the carrying out of the works, Sitzler had to work very closely with each Establishments respective Base Support Operations Managers and Regional Environmental Officers in regards to access to each site, the coordination of services outages, programming of works in order to minimize noise disruption to nearby accommodation precincts, removal of asbestos containing materials, movement of heavy vehicles throughout the Bases, removal of fauna inhabitants, and closing out of Environmental Clearance Certificates. In achieving this, Sitzler ensured Defence an incident free completion to the project works.
