Sitzler was contracted a by Essington school, to undertake refurbishments to the Open Education Building and convert to Classrooms. This included a change of use to the Building and required upgrading the facility to comply with new disabled standards, which included a new passenger lift, as well as upgrades required to fire detection and protection, additional amenities and upgrades to the air-conditioning system. The Project originally targeted a tight timeframe and all major works were completed over school holidays.

Works also included fit out of classrooms of painted plasterboard walls, upgrades or repairs as required to carpeted floors and new glazed shop fronts, Classrooms included science labs where Gas was reticulated and high wearing finished were required due to the potential of harsh chemicals.

Sitzler worked closely with the client’s requirements and needs to maintain a strong relationship to maintain stakeholder and client satisfaction.
