Glossop High School Redevelopment
Client: SA Government, Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure
Sitzler has been awarded the Early Contractor’s Involvement (ECI) contract for the Glossop High School Redevelopment in South Australia.
This contract will be delivered as part of the Building Better Schools program across the state.
Construction commenced mid July 2020 following completion of the design and development approvals. All trades have been procured and we are expecting to achieve approximately 60-70% local engagement in the Riverland area.
USFPI Northern Territory Training Areas & Range
Client: Department of Defence
Sitzler has been awarded the Managing Contractor role for the $514M NT Training Areas and Ranges Project.
This project seeks to upgrade and expand the existing facilities at Robertson Barracks Close Training Area (RCTA), Kangaroo Flats Training Area (KFTA), Mt Bundey Training Area (MBTA); and Bradshaw Field Training Area (BFTA) to support the United States Forces Posture Initiative (USFPI) within the Territory.
Delivery Phase works are scheduled to commence in late 2021 and be completed in 2025.
RDH Cyclotron
Client: Northern Territory Government Department Infrastructure, Planning & Logistics
Sitzler are undertaking the construction of a purpose-built cyclotron and radiopharmacy facility at Royal Darwin Hospital.
The scope of works includes Radio pharmacy, GMP certified Clean Rooms and ancillary rooms, Cyclotron Vault and Service Room and associated staff areas.
Once complete, the cyclotron facility with produce isotopes required for the operation of the PET scanner, eliminating the need for these to be sourced interstate.
AIR7000 Hangar Facility
Client: Department of Defence
The AIR7000 Phase 2B Maritime Patrol Aircraft Replacement Project involves the transition of current AP-3C Orion aircraft operations of 92 Wing (92WG) in the Surveillance and Response Group (SRG) to the Boeing P-8A aircraft. AIR 7000 will mark the establishment of a Maritime Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance and Response (MISRR) capability to replace the current Maritime Patrol & Response (MPR) capability.
The scope of works for the Phase 2B Package 1 project include the following deliverables:
- One maintenance hangar for one aircraft; and
- A Support Facilities collocated with the maintenance hangar to host up to four (4) deployed 92WG / P-8A SQN crews, based on crew rest cycles, and a permanent staff of seven Operational Zones including a SCIF.
AIR7000 Pavements
Client: Department of Defence
The AIR7000 Phase 2B Maritime Patrol Aircraft Replacement project will provide new and upgraded facilities, infrastructure and airfield works for the introduction of the Boeing P-8A Poseidon to the Forward Operating Base at RAAF Base Darwin (DAR). The project will deliver facilities, infrastructure and airfield works for the introduction of the Boeing P-8A Poseidon aircraft.
The proposed facilities include administration, operations, simulation and training, maintenance hangars, workshops to conduct operational level maintenance, aircraft pavements, aircraft rinse facilities, and associated engineering services. The purpose of the proposed works is to deliver new purpose built facilities and infrastructure for the introduction of the Boeing P-8A Poseidon aircraft.
Larrakeyah Base Entry Precinct
Client: Laing O’Rourke for Department of Defence
Sitzler have been awarded the J001 Base Entry Precinct Package for Laing O’Rourke’s Larrakeyah Defence Precinct Redevelopment.
Larrakeyah Defence Precinct has significant shortcomings in the condition, capacity and compliance of existing engineering services infrastructure with the current base entrance not meeting contemporary Defence security standards.
The scope of works for the Base Entry Precinct Package includes:
- New roundabouts inside Defence property
- Upgrade to existing road network and construction of new road network
- Passive and active security controls
- New carpark
- All associated infrastructure services.
