There are only 15 Helium recovery plants in the world and each plant needs to be custom designed to suit the specific gas and local conditions. The Darwin helium plant design therefore demanded a high degree of co-operation between our designers in Switzerland, Germany and you in Darwin.

The suggestions and design optimisation ideas offered from Sitzler’s team were rapidly incorporated by BOC into the project design.

“I had the privilege of working with Sitzler during the construction of the C-Band Radar Station at Naval Communication Station Harold E. Holt in Exmouth, WA. Sitzler was the managing contractor responsible for site safety, fire suppression, coordination of specialty contractors, and consultant to the Defence Material Organisation (DMO) among other things.
