Sitzler was engaged as ECI contractor to undertake redevelopment works at Glossop High School in preparation for the transition of the amalgamation of two schools. The ECI contract included a “fast-tracked” design phase of seven weeks which required a highly collaborative approach to maximise appropriate educational facilities and amenities for the school community. 

Sitzler enhanced the school’s learning and administrative spaces, delivering two new education hub buildings (1075m2 each) and refurbishing the Administration, Performing Arts, and Special Options buildings. The project, completed on time and within budget, increased the school’s capacity to more than 800 students for the 2022 school year.
