Sitzler is the ECI Contractor currently delivering the upgrade of the Tiger Brennan Drive and Berrimah Road intersection, a vital commuter route between Darwin’s CBD and Palmerston, and a major freight route accessing the East Arm Wharf. Jointly funded by the Northern Territory Government and Federal Government, the works will improve capacity, travel times and safety at a key transport node on the urban road network.

The project scope includes the design and construction of a new grade separated intersection to replace the existing at-grade signalised intersection of Tiger Brennan Drive and Berrimah Road, and incorporation of future planning considerations for a Rapid Transit Corridor between Darwin and Palmerston.

The project has recently achieved target milestones with commuters now using the new road alignment.
