Tiger Brennan Drive and Berrimah Road intersection is a vital commuter route between Darwin’s CBD and Palmerston, and a major freight route accessing the East Arm Wharf. With the project being jointly funded by the Northern Territory Government and Federal Government, the works will improve capacity, travel times and safety at a key transport node on the urban road network. 

The project scope includes the design and construction of a new grade separated intersection to replace the existing at-grade signalised intersection of Tiger Brennan Drive and Berrimah Road, and incorporation of future planning considerations for a Rapid Transit Corridor between Darwin and Palmerston
